Birds of Kygeria

These gorgeous birds are similar to the Ravens of our world. They represent death and life as well as Rebirth to the inhabitants of Kygeria. They are gifted in helping with communication and enhancing and stealing or retrieving items or things lost. They are skilled in hunting and make it their diet of choice to do so. They are very important for their environment as scavengers of their relm they clean up and help keep pests and parasites under control. Their digestive system can handle many poisons and toxins and different foods due to its acidity content. Their bodies glow due to their food consumption. However their preferred food of choice is small game. These beautiful birds of prey are often protectors of the Orrias and Eeeyas which are two inhabiting clans in Kygeria. The relm is very dark and residual energy has no effect here for some reason(still researching this but it doesn't pertain to the species). They are about as safe as having a pet bird which means they can bite and scratch so it is important to make sure that you wear gloves as unlike here their claws are like razors this is to ensure they can protect their nests. The young and males do not have this trait. They prefer offerings of woodsy incense or oils and even fruit slices as a treat.
