This unique race of elves are referred to as black elves or dark elves they specifically come from Nordic mythology and are often derived as being evil. As far art category go this race is particularly a black arts one. They can be particularly Meme and cool at times. It is said that they live underground with the with the dwarves underneath midgard but not so far as where hel is located. On some accounts these beings children of hel and on others they are the children of Loki. Basically what ended up occurring is where the others. These beings are related to the álfar or light elves but it is said they were born without the divine aspect of their relatives. Often related or compared to the Vanir (fertility gods) in nature, the elves can be found in association with divinities throughout the Eddas. They are completely nocturnal and will avoid light at all costs as it hurts their eyes and bodies. They can cause nightmares just by whispering them into the ear of the intended target as well as protection from hexes and hexing others themselves. They can cause certain maladies to humans and other beings if they so chose to do so. They are extremely tricky and micheavous and often will go out of their way to trick others. They are not for beginners and require firm house rules. Although they do have a moral compass they just do not care to ignore it if it suits their wants or needs.
